WeRiseToLegalize declares Medical Marijuana a Cause to UnPause, calling on NY Governor Cuomo to make Medical Expansion an essential public health need and prioritize an effort to address disparities in at risk Impact Areas across the state. Calling on President Donald Trump to encourage New York and other states to address similar problems across the country. Licensed caregivers, dispensary personnel and outreach service providers are essential health services. They protect patients that are seniors, children suffering from illness, Veterans, retirees, opioid abusers, and others that require Medical Marijuana and associated resources.
WeRiseToLegalize is asking Governor Cuomo to delineate Medical Marijuana access an essential healthcare need for all New Yorkers by awarding five (5) new licenses for innovative health providers committed to servicing patients from historically impacted areas across New York. Prospective licensees should be statutorily required, in perpetuity, to reinvest a percentage of its revenue DIRECTLY in those Impacted Areas. It’s a win for impacted Communities, Working Families and Patients! It’s a win for Private investment funding innovative medical platforms. And NY Wins by generating new tax revenue, employing hundreds of essential workers, and reinvesting back in those impacted areas.
